Duties and responsibilities include demographic entry, ICD-10, charge entry, receipt posting, and accounts receivable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>High School Diploma or Equivalent \/ College Degree Preferred<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 \u2013 3 years of billing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bilingual Preferred<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be knowledgeable with PHI Protocols, HIPAA, &amp; HITECH<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Billing Specialist is responsible for medical coding, billing, and accounts receivable tasks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Duties and responsibilities include demographic entry, ICD-10, charge entry, receipt posting, and accounts receivable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insurance eligibility and benefit verification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reconcile claims\/accounts to complete resolution<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payment posting from both insurance and patient<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accounts receivable \/ follow up<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor assigned accounts to ensure maximization of collection dollars<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meets or exceeds key performance indicators measuring productivity, quality, and service level as defined by Management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Actively participates in team initiatives and in team status meetings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Client agreements, authorizations, &amp; verifying eligibility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Benefits:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Health insurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paid time off<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prepare and submit accurate medical claims, ensuring timely payments and correct billing.
